I'd put both of these collaborators on the "Musicians I Must See Before I Die" list that I keep filed in my brain. Like many of the people who listen to jazz and improvised music I'm quite familiar with the work of Evan Parker. Borah Bergman is another story. I did not hear his music until I heard his live duo recording with the late Thomas Chapin on the Boxholder label (I've previously made my feelings known about the music of Thomas Chapin - perhaps I should post that album here too... but I digress).
Do yourself a favour and give this a listen. You won't be sorry. I promise.
