George Adams and Don Pullen were perfect collaborators. Pullen was a fluid, lightning fast pianist and George Adams was a bluesy, big-toned tenor player. They recorded together many times over their career. They co-led a quartet with Dannie Richmond and Cameron Brown that produced several excellent recordings for the Timeless label. With this recording (also from the Dutch label Timeless) we hear Pullen and Adams in duet setting.
