Frank Lowe - Bodies and Soul

Regrets for the absence - life's what happens while you're busy making plans. I will try and post more often (a pre-New Years resolution, perhaps?).
Memphis born Frank Lowe was influential among improvising musicians. He began as a fire-breather but developed into a player of great depth. This 1995 recording is one of his later efforts and is a trio session with Charles Moffett on drums and Tim Flood on bass and Lowe on tenor sax. It's one of his best. Get it!
This is a fitting way to return to this blog...
The playlist goes like this:
1. Impressions
2. Soul of Fortune
3. Bethera
4. Nothing But Love
5. Don One #1
6. Don One #2
7. Happy House
8. For Louie
9. Art Deco
10. Body and Soul
Enjoy!
